The new Incorporated Societies Act was passed in April 2022, replacing the previous act from 1908.  

EVERY incorporated society will need to take actions as a result of these changes.

In this on-line presentation Angela will give you an overview of the act and what you will need to do to comply.

In summary

• This New Legislation is now in effect.
• You will need to re-register your society and update your constitution in line with the new legislation -You will have until April 2026
• If you fail to do this your Society will cease to exist.
